Women's Wisdom Wednesdays: What's In a Plan?

What's In a Plan?

In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespear wrote, "What's in a name?  That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

But, what happens when we take time to meticulously organize our lives, detail by detail and our plans are altered at the last minute?  Do we see it as simply an alternative route for us to move toward our destination or do we see it as a set back?

Today, I spoke with a client.  I told her that my GodMothers always told me to make sure that I plan, yet I should also plan to leave room for Spirit.

When we leave room for Spirit to move freely, we are able to release all of our ideals that things have to be done a certain way or by a certain standard.  We enter a space of FREEDOM and PEACE, because we allow ourselves time to regroup and become refreshed again.

We breathe easier.  We smile more.  We worry less.

We evolve.

By connecting and re-connecting with the source inside of ourselves, we are able to make decisions that are not only healthier, but are mutually beneficial to us and our loved ones.

According to Steve Pavlina, acceptance is one of the pillars of self-discipline.  In my mind, self acceptance is not only the ability to accept who we are on a physical level, but to be able to fully recognize, respect and revere who we are on a spiritual level, as well.

When we fully under/over/innerstand WHO WE ARE, we will be able to trust that our Higher Self always has our best interest at heart and that, regardless of the situation or circumstance, everything is unfolding as it should.

Be Peace...Be Love...Be Better
