Manifesting 101: Create a Vision Board

It's always a good idea to dream and plan for the future, but if you are constantly day dreaming you aren't making progressive steps in the NOW. Here is a creative, fun, and efficient way to be reminded daily of your aspirations while still encouraging and allowing room for progression.

Every month I align my intents with the new moon and attempt to "wax in" everything I desire for myself, but this particular one is special and deserves something more. December 22, 2011 marks the beginning of the Winter Solstice with the new moon waning in on the 23rd. In ADDITION the New Year is approaching which means manifestation time and new beginnings for all! During this time your thoughts and actions are very important. How you choose to use this energy will be a reflection of what you are willing into your life for yourself. Our ancestors knew the importance of these cycles and days but we seem to have forgotten due to our fast paced lives...

**I recommend everyone take some meditant time for reflection before this activity.**

Instead of simply writing your intentions (as I always do), create a vision board to bring some visual manifestation power to it. All you will need is:

Project board/Foam board/Art Canvas or go ECO with recycled cardboard. (Bulletin boards work fine as well)

Glue

Scissors

Old Magazines, Pictures, Newspapers etc.

Markers, Paint or whatever you choose to express yourself with.

All your dreams, aspirations, and creativity!

This is your vision board and it represents your life so create your future anyway you desire! Want to lose weight? - Paste your face on that Halle body for fun! Get creative! Be sure to include uplifting words and pictures. Find things that represent where you want to be. (example: important dates, travels, relocating, family, friends, school, better habits..)

Make sure to hang your finished piece somewhere that you will see EVERYDAY. Whenever in doubt or feeling down, refer to your Vision of Life for inspiration to help keep you on track.

At the end of the year, (or sooner if you are a master of manifestation) reflect on your vision board. You will be surprised at how far you have come! Do this activity as much as needed or you may keep the same one for years. Make vision boards as a collective with friends to increase the positive and motivational energy. Who's down!?
