Don't throw away your leaves (strawberry leaves, beet greens etc), seeds, skins, cores, and rinds from your fruits and vegetables!
These "remaining" parts carry many nutrients and minerals that can be utilized through teas, blending (w/ a high power blender/vitamixer) or simply composted to give the nutrients back to the earth!
If you're feeling extra spunky..try eating these things raw to observe each natural flavor before experimenting.
Research how to utilize your excess plant matter!
