How Do I Love Me? Let Me Count the Ways...
Today was one of "those" days. You know, those days Monica sang about. In my mind, I was making a mountain out of e v e r y single molehill and I decided to focus on the things I love about myself. First, allow me to share one of my many musings with you quickly...
*****
How do you love you? That's a question that only you can answer. It's one of those questions that cannot be answered by the most intellectual or intelligent person.
Everyone loves themselves differently. When you love you, you know, though. Your spirit rejoices. Grow completely and utterly in love with you, like how you would want to love your twin soul.
This pulls you closer to the creator...closer to your equator...your mid point.
Balance.

Last week, the women of My Empowerment, My Way: The Goddess Series focused on Self Love. Someone had a spa day. Someone else groomed her eyebrows. I went to the beach with my big Sister.
More and more, I notice that Self Love is not just all about one act once in a while, but it is about maintaining many acts on a consistent and constant basis.
For example, this morning, instead of meditating, doing my affirmations and taking time to look over my vision boards, I decided to get up and focus on things that I had absolutely no control over. While it may take us a little while to pinpoint exactly what self love is for us, I am so completely sure that my actions this morning were not showing love to my self in anyway.
Dear Amazing Woman,
So...as a writer, author and poet...I often turn to words for healing and comfort. I decided to write myself a Love Letter.
I reminded myself how talented I am. How resilient I am. How creative, inspiring, committed, loving, loved I am. That the work I do is desperately needed in this world. That I am needed in the lives of my family and loved ones.
That I am Divine.
That I Am that I Am.
That I will Be what I will Be.
That I am Divine.
That I Am that I Am.
That I will Be what I will Be.
Then, I found this affirmation I wrote a long time ago:
I control my life.
I am happy, healthy, loved, successful and prosperous.
Life is my tool to actualize and realize Divinity.
I will pay the highest honor and respect to this blessing.
SUPER WOMAN!
Last week, I asked some of my clients if they had a super power...what would it be.
My power was pleasing. I love the way I please others and make people feel happy.
Yet, my power is only fully realized when pleasing people includes pleasing me, as well.
Today, and every day, I spread love in my own being to then be expressed and shared to the rest of the world.
Be Peace...Be Love...Be Better
